The Serenity Salt Room Experience

What to Expect

Prepare to unwind in our cozy plush chairs, serenaded by the soothing sounds, allowing your stresses to melt away. As you recline in the Salt ’s comfort, a delicate aerosol of nearly imperceptible dry salt particles will envelop you. The ambient lighting will gently dim, giving you the choice to indulge in tranquil music, immerse yourself in a good book, meditate, or simply bask in restful repose. After your session concludes, depart feeling utterly relaxed and rejuvenated. It’s recommended to rehydrate with water post-session, given the nature of the salt.

Arrival Time

We kindly request your presence 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, as our sessions commence promptly on the hour. Once a session commences, entry into the salt room is not permitted. If unforeseen delays occur, rescheduling will be necessary.

Attire

For your visit to the Serenity Salt Room don’t forget to bring and wear white socks. Comfortable attire is recommended (rest assured, salt air is harmless and leaves no noticeable residue), allowing you to fully unwind. Our room is climate-controlled, maintained between 68 to 72 degrees for your comfort. Plush blankets will be provided to keep you snug as your body relaxes.

Salt Room Policies & Etiquette

Please refrain from bringing food or drinks into the room. Arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment, use the restroom and prepare yourself with tissues.

In consideration of the corrosive nature of salt, electronic devices such as cell phones and tablets should not accompany you. Secure your valuables in your vehicle or use our locker room.

No throwing of Salt or touching the decor or walls, and we reserve the right to stop any session if we feel there may be damage to our facility.

If you appear intoxicated we reserve the right to refuse entry to the Salt Room.

If a member of your group or party is late – we cannot delay the session start time – all salt sessions start promptly – which is why the 15 minute prior arrival is recommended.

Adult supervision is required for children under 16, and no more than two children per adult. Everyone should use a spa level voice and refrain from engaging with and disturbing other spa guests and Serenity Salt Room guests.

Please do not wear perfume or heavily scented oils, and do not come to Serenity Salt Room if you have the FLU or any active illness/fever. We have the right to turn anyone away who is showing signs of illness.

Number of Sessions

The response to salt therapy varies among individuals. Some experience positive effects after a single session, while a series of sessions is recommended for optimal results. During allergy and cold seasons, many opt for 2-3 weekly sessions over 4 weeks, while others seeking relief from chronic conditions may attend 2 sessions a week for 2 months or more.

Those in pursuit of general wellness, stress relief, and relaxation can frequent and benefit by using The Serenity Salt Room as often as desired. After a series of sessions, symptoms often diminish, and with our low cost membership you can accumulate sessions and use as needed.

Salt therapy can also serve as a preventive measure, bolstering the immune system against colds, coughs, allergies, and sinusitis. Some enthusiasts incorporate salt therapy into their daily rituals at home, and it’s essential to note that overdosing on salt therapy is not a concern.
